Carole Rutherford and Sarah Johnson formed Autism-in-Mind (AIM) in 2001.During the last 11 years AIM has connected with parents, carers and adults with autism all over the UK.

Westminster November 2002
In November 2002, over 6500 signatures and letters in support of the Autism-in-Mind ‘Call for Action’ were handed over to Dr Stephen Ladyman who used the signatures and letters to petition Parliament with them in May 2003.

In 2002 AIM also launched the ‘AIM Diet’

Our first awareness raising event

Ian Jordan Jordans Multisensory Optical Practice based in Ayre
Left his audience in no doubt that sesnory issues can seriously impact on the lives of children with autism. When he we held an awareness raising evening at Columbia Grange School in Washington. Ian is also one of AIM's Patrons.
