AIM was formed in 2001

Carole Rutherford and Sarah Johnson formed Autism-in-Mind (AIM) in 2001.During the last 11 years AIM has connected with parents, carers and adults with autism all over the UK.


Westminster November 2002

In November 2002, over 6500 signatures and letters in support of the Autism-in-Mind ‘Call for Action’ were handed over to Dr Stephen Ladyman who used the signatures and letters to  petition Parliament with them in May 2003.


In 2002 AIM also launched the ‘AIM Diet’

Our first awareness raising event

Aim is now able to offer the Listening Programme to children with autism in mainstream schools who cannot routinely access this therapeutic programme.
